Sohyun Han, Ph.D.
Dr. Han (she/her) is a child psychologist with years of experience providing psychological services to children, teens, young adults, and families.
Dr. Han has received extensive training and education in child and adolescent mental health. Additionally, her training in children’s hospitals has equipped her to work with youth who have both complex medical and psychological needs. In her work, she uses treatments that have been backed by science, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and exposure therapy. Dr. Han individualizes treatment to every person, taking care to understand their unique gender, sexual, racial, and cultural identities.
Additionally, Dr. Han has specialized expertise in eating disorders. She is one of the few psychologists in Los Angeles trained in Family-Based Treatment, the most effective treatment for adolescent eating disorders. In addition to her practice, Dr. Han is an attending psychologist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she provides services in the eating disorders program.
Outside of work, Dr. Han loves spending time with her two kids and husband.
